Wednesday’s podcast, Dear Danny: Are my friends toxic?, featured a question about a broken beach chair that had me, Danny, and the commenters desperate for answers!!

Endless do/don’t lists for avoiding the Cyclospora outbreak. For some reason I found this random Reel by a looksmaxxing IG doctor to be the most visually useful (shout out to him). Although apparently they’ve zeroed in on lettuce? At least it’s been confirmed as one source!
The toddler-friendly recipe for “breakfast cheesecake.” Honestly this was really fun and easy to make with Sunny. Use if you are insanely sick of breakfast. Hit me in the comments if you have other recs in this vein...eggs and oatmeal have me in a chokehold.
“Gaza and the Problem of Moral Stupidity,” by Abdaljawad Omar for Equator. A devastating account of the role of “intellectual argument” in the plight of Palestinians. Gave me a lot to think about re: where “moral stupidity” shows up in other aspects of modern life. (I found sections 3 and 4 a little difficult to get through in terms of managing names and details, but I’m glad I held out for sake of sections 5 and 6.)
Two thirds of Amadeus (the 1985 period drama about Mozart), which somehow took Avi and I two separate viewings over 10 days. At this point it’s taking us so long to finish that it’s just going on the list. We’ll finish soon……it’s really good! I think?
