The beauty of wireless charging is that you can slap your phone down in the dark without having to find the end of a cable or plug it in. The best wireless chargers reduce friction and might even help your relationship, since you and your partner can charge your phones without waking the other by fumbling with a cable or turning the lamp on. My years-long quest for the perfect wireless charger for my nightstand continues, but the most recent crop of contenders are light-years ahead of early wireless chargers.
